Anime Festival Asia 2014

Welcome back readers! Again, sorry for the late posts. Been busy lately and the reason why I'm able to post this is because... Well, I didn't go to school. Plus, I have an exam two days from now and I didn't even look at my files yet!

Moving on, yep, the title says it all. I went for the Anime Festival Asia 2014 here in Singapore for the first time ever. I was so excited to see a few cosplayers when I was taking the train. Heck, I even squealed when I saw Levi (or was it Eren?) at the train station waiting for Krista.

I didn't manage to snap a picture of Krista because I was busy squealing.

After buying tickets, I was walking to the entrance and only to spot the Deputy Managing Director, Mr Toshifumi Makita. Well, sure you might be thinking "Who would have notice/care that, just enjoy all the anime and the event." But hey, I am interested to know and plus I guess studying about events really does spark up curiosity in me.

Anywhale, since it was my first time (don't ask), I bought the exhibition ticket only because I don't really know a lot of the singers (and the only one I really like is LiSA) and I only have interest in Seiyuus (voice actos) compared to singers. Maybe next year, by then I would have know a lot of them.

That aside, I enjoyed the whole event. The music, the items they sell, the activities, the cosplayers and mini concert with awesome songs. It was awesome. Oh, and I did got myself a Kaneki Ken mask. And some kind of "Lucky Bag", which I am extremely disappointed of the content inside.

Kirito's sword~

Some cosplay guests

Overall the event was a great first experience, and yes, for sure I will start going to AFA yearly. Can't wait for next year knowing there would be Attack on Titan 2, Tokyo Ghoul 2 and Nisekoi 2. 2015 will be a great year.

That's all for now because I need to start studying *cries*

Signing off,

Kiseijuu / Parasyte Episode 10: What Mad Universe

Welcome back readers! I apologise for the late post, since I was busy with a project (and still am). Anyways, it's Friday! Why not I reward myself for surviving the past 5 days in school by watching Kiseijuu? Yep, the title suits perfectly for this episode.

The whole episode was quite intense. Another massacre, which means dead bodies everywhere~ The whole episode was gore but I'm fine with it. I feel like it makes up for some animes (*ahem* like Tokyo Ghoul) which censored like, 90% of the whole scene.

Moving on, apparently Shimada (Alien/Parasyte Guy) went berserk due to a paint thinner, and we all know whose the one that's gonna kill him. Can I just say I just LOVE this scene? So awesomeeee.

Oh, and when he threw that stone? Kinda reminded me of someone.. The blue-haired character, with awesome passes in basketball...

Kuroko Tetsuya of course !!! (from Kuroko no Basuke)

Back to the topic (teehee) I had to replay that scene because I just love replaying cool scenes. Don't mind me. Anyways, not wanting to spoil it for you readers too much, you NEED to watch this. Let's have an appreciation picture of Shinichi before I end this off.

Seeyu soon!

Kiseijuu: Sei no Kakuritsu

Welcome back readers! I apologise for the "not-so-daily" blog entry. This few weeks I have examinations going on so it might be a lil difficult for me to post daily. Nevertheless, I would like to inform that I'm watching....

KISEIJUU:SEI NO KAKURITSU
(Also known as Parasite -the maxim-)

I came across this anime while scrolling through Tumblr and googled "anime to watch 2014". And I have to say, sometimes I just love how curious I am. Why? Because I found awesome stuffs and this is one of it. I don't really watch anime of the genre and probably the only gore animes that I watched would be 'Tokyo Ghoul' and 'Attack on Titans'. But this... will be the next exception. ♥

Readers, if you can't think of any awesome anime to watch, I highly recommend you watch this. Just watching the first episode made me glued to it. Plus, I normally prefer to watch romance/shoujo genre. It's just that awesome.

I'll write about the latest episode once I get there.

Stay tuned

Wolf Girl & Black Price Episode 8: Spring Storm

Welcome back readers! Just as promised (well, I didn't exactly did so but oh well), it's my first review after a long time! Readers who loves shoujo/romance genre, you have got to watch this already. Though, I'm pretty sure you already are.

Well, since this is the first time I'm writing about this anime, sorry about it but I'll start from the latest released episode. After watching this episode, can I just say Sata Kyouya is so mean and rude, yet he can be so darn sweet. I can't recall the number of times I hated and love him after, it happened a lot to be honest.

Moving on, this whole episode? I love it so much. At times I can relate to it, and some scenes are just too funny I couldn't control my laughter. (Yes, I watched it during class and I hope nobody was judging me.) This episode kinda had two parts. The first part was when they went on a date together to watch the cherry blossom (I want a date like this too, please).

Mainly Erika was being like a kid. Okay, I'm sorry I said that but seriously though, wanting to do "what couples do", and being all "lovey dovey" (till the point of puking). I didn't mind Kyouya getting annoyed. I mean really. Erika should take into consideration how Kyouya is.He wasn't the type to do such stuffs. So they got into an argument and Kyouya being in his usual "jerk" mode, told Erika to ride the boat herself.

While both of them went to cool their heads off and figuring out the matters themselves, I can't stop having the "OMG he understands" feeling when I saw how Kyouya was in front of some couples.

Anyways, I don't want to spoil much for you readers but I just cracked up at this part:
-- after a moment of silence --
Kyouya: Erika .. [ open his mouth . ]

Erika: What are you doing ? Your mouth's open, you know .

Kyouya: Because I opened it .

The trolling moment of Erika crack my bone so hard. Anyways, soon after Erika fed him a takoyaki (omfg i love takoyaki), and then she got so happy. The second part of the episode introduces a new male character. Looks like a storm is coming.. Readers! You HAVE to watch this.

~sudden realisation~
There's not even a single picture of Erika. Hmm.. Let's appreciate this kokoro-clenching moment from the previous episode shall we?

Till then,
Saru-chan
